Maglite D (RX-13856) is a high purity, lightly calcined, high surface area, very active magnesium oxide. It’s primary use to neutralize acids formed during the processing of elastomer compounds. This high quality magnesium oxide is produced through a precision controlled seawater extraction process, which produces consistent unique crystal morphology and very narrow particle size distribution for applications where fast reaction rates are required.
