Water side print rolls require a rubber compound to hold a film of water on the surface without absorbing water. SUPRMIX® 900 provides a hydrophilic surface to improve the water film on the surface of the roller. The use of alcohols or other solvents are reduced which means compounds plasticized with SUPRMIX® 900 are safer for workers and more environmentally responisble based on lower VOC’s. SUPRMIX® 900 is also effective in plasticizing copolymer emulsions used in adhesive formulating.
