Plasthall® 408 is a highly branched monomeric ester designed to enhance the flexibility and performance of various elastomers, including NBR and HNBR.
Plasthall® 408 is an effective alternative to trimelllitate esters, providing similar performance to their counterparts such as TOTM and 8-10 TME when evaluating for plasticizing efficacy (stress), tensile strength, and low temperature flexibility.
