PDFParaplex® G-25 is one of HallStar’s best known and best selling polymeric plasticizers. Where the utmost degrees of chemical resistance, resistance to migration, and resistance to elevated temperatures are required, Paraplex® G-25 is the gold standard by which all of the other polymeric and monomeric plasticizers are measured. Paraplex® G-25 is a polyester sebacate with an approximate average molecular weight of 10.000, which means it is extremely viscous at room temperatures. Most customers of neat, liquid Paraplex® G-25 heat the drums with drum heaters or place the drums in hot boxes or boiler rooms several days prior to using the product. There is a much simpler, more elegant, more efficient way: SUPRMIX® Paraplex® G-25. We put our own Paraplex® G-25 on our amorphous silica carrier to make a free-flowing powdered dispersion. All of those benchmark properties of HallStar’s Paraplex® G-25: permanence; compatibility; retention of physical properties at prolonged service at high temperatures; excellent resistance to extraction in/by gasoline, oils, detergents and soapy water; and freedom from migration into plastics, rubber, lacquers, alkyds, and varnish finishes are retained —- just in a form that is remarkably convenient to handle, weigh, and mix.
