MONOPLEX® DOS is an ester-type plasticizer, which has been used for many years as a standard in vinyl compounds requiring low temperature flexibility.

The most important features of MONOPLEX® DOS low volatility, high plasticizing efficiency, excellent resistance to extraction by water, soaps, and detergents, and excellent flexibility at low temperatures.

In plastisols, MONOPLEX® DOS exhibits very low viscosity (about one-third the viscosity of plastisols based on DOP) and excellent viscosity stability. MONOPLEX® DOS is often used in combination with other plasticizers to improve the viscosity characteristics of vinyl plastisols and to improve low temperature properties.
